I Built a Simple Tool to Reveal Your Broker IP on MT4/MT5 (Free Download)
At some point, I needed one simple thing:
The exact IP and port my MT4/MT5 terminal was connected to.
Not the broker name.
Not the server label.
The actual connection details.
And surprisingly… MetaTrader doesn’t show this.
The Problem
If you’ve ever tried to get this info, you’ll know the usual suggestions:
- Run
netstat - Use
lsof - Install Wireshark
- Filter through dozens of connections
- View from TCP connections
I tried all of it.
Some of the options works… but it’s messy, time-consuming, and not something you’d want to repeat or recommend to someone else.
Why I Built This
I needed a faster way — especially for things like:
- Trade copier setups
- Server/IP whitelisting
- Debugging connections
- Building forex system and integrations
So instead of digging through terminals every time, I built a small tool to handle it instantly.
The Solution
The tool does one thing:
👉 It detects and shows your broker IP and port in seconds
No commands.
No filtering.
No guesswork.
Just:
- Open MT4/MT5 and log in to your trading account
- Run the tool
- See the result.
Free Download
I made it free because it solves a real problem I personally faced.
👉 Download using the download button on this page.
Available for:

2. There are different folder for different OS (Windows or Mac)
3. Open the folder that apply to you and then click on the start command.
4. Open your browser and visit
5. Open and log in to your trading terminal
6. Enter the trading account on the app and select MT4 or MT5 and then submit
7. If it doesn't show result immediately, kindly close your trading terminal and reopen it then try again.
If you’ve ever struggled to find your broker’s actual connection details, this will save you time.
Cheers!
